COMING SOON

Based on customer requests, we have been field-testing three increasingly important workshops: team chartering, team skills and customer service training.

While still being refined, they are available as beta sessions.

Team Chartering – This session can help any team work together more effectively. It is especially useful for new or problem teams. Team members complete various activities to help see their fellow team members as individuals, to see the importance of teamwork and communication and, primarily, to develop and agree on the basic rules of behavior – the charter – under which the team will operate.

Team Skills – Based on requests for team training in a fun setting, the Communications Academy has itself teamed up with SweetWater Cooking Studio to place our solid team training into a kitchen setting. Eliminating concerns about traditional roles and business specifics, this workshop allows participants to strengthen their skills while working together in unfamiliar ways. And yes, they get to eat what they prepare while they debrief the skills covered.

“Turn over a New LEAF” Customer Service Training – In this case, the guiding principle for the customer service program is “Turn Over a New LEAF.” The acronym stands for Listen, Empathize, Act, Follow-up. This session is flexible enough to be a full day, two half days or, if freeing up staff is difficult, there will be a “tune-up” version that could be completed in half a day.
